This Cool Cat AC vent cover easily installs over existing vent grate. It matches your front diamond plate rock guard. It keeps dust, dirt, bugs and road grime from entering your AC bay as well as keeps water and moisture out while AC unit is not in use. All install hardware is included with kit. Please see the printable install guide (link below) for installation. Note that there is a slight difference (per the install guide) for 2023 and newer models.

Well Made & Great Protection for AC Vent

When I opened the shipping box I was amazed at how well the components were packaged - picture attached. Parts were well made with no sharp edges. With the gasket on the inside of the cover it seals the vent area very well.
The instructions that are provided in this website were very helpful. I do have a few suggestions per below.
- Step 4: In using the M4 fasteners to attach the Upper Bracket, I found it best to have someone on the outside of the trailer to hold each machine screw steady with a 2.5mm Allen Wrench while someone inside is tightening the stop nut with a 7mm socket.
- Step 6: When placing the large gasket onto the inside of the cover, it worked best for me to just peal back the adhesive sheet about 1 inch along the bottom edge to make sure all is aligned and centered and adhere that first. Then you can pull the rest of the sheet off as you press the gasket in place.

A Little Misleading

Having just purchased my T@B 400, I'm very sensitive to any permanent modifications. I had no idea when I purchased the A/C Vent Cover that I would be required to DRILL holes into my trailer to install the cover. Yes, the installation instructions were part of the catalog entry, but I didn't read them until the cover arrived. I'll take partial ownership in the surprise, but I think that AllPro Adventures could have been a little more upfront with a simple disclosure at the time of purchase. Due to weather and personal committments, I have not yet installed the cover, but think it will be a good addition to my T@B once it has been installed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Decent Product, But Installation Was Frustrating

The AC cover looks good and feels sturdy, but the installation process was more difficult than expected. The instructions—especially Steps 3 and 4—were inaccurate, which led to extra work and adjustments during mounting. I managed to get it installed, but it wasn’t straightforward.
Also, the finish on the plate doesn’t match the rest of the trailer’s diamond plating. It’s a minor detail, but noticeable if you care about aesthetics.
Overall, I’m satisfied with the final result, but for the price, I expected a smoother experience. I hope the manufacturer considers updating the instructions and finishing to better match expectations.
